Lost and Found Services
The Office of Student Life no longer accepts lost and found items.
Lost and Found Services are now performed by the Campus Safety and Security Department located in Relocatable B (RLB) near Meadowdale Hall.
Please consult the list below to determine which types of “Found” items should be turned into the Campus Safety and Security Department for log-in and storage. Items not on the approved list or of an undetermined value may be placed in the chest outside of the Office of Student Life for individuals to check. The chest is accessible at all times the Brier Student Center building is open.
Unclaimed items stored in the OSL chest are donated to a non-profit charity every 30 days.
Unclaimed items stored in the Security Lost and Found are donated to a non-profit charity at the end of 90 days.
The hours for the Campus Safety and Security Department’s Lost and Found Services are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; Monday through Friday as staff is available.
Items Security WILL accept:
· Electronic data devices
· Wallets
· Purses and handbags
· Keys
· Jewelry
· Glasses (reading or sunglasses)
· USB cards
· Backpacks and tote bags
· Textbooks
Items Security WILL NOT accept:
· Articles of Clothing and large/bulky items
· Umbrellas
· Perishable items
· Containers for perishable items; lunch boxes, coolers, coffee mugs, water bottles, etc.
· Items of indeterminate value
· Hazardous or soiled items
Neither the Office of Student Life nor the Campus Safety and Security Department assume responsibility for items stored in the OSL chest or in the Lost and Found.
