Mode of Operation
The Campus Safety Department coordinates all campus safety operations on campus. The Safety and Security Department consists of a Director Of Security, a Safety/Security Supervisor, a Campus Security Sergeant, two Campus Security Officers, 8 Student Assistants and one Office Assistant.
Student security assistants receive training in basic campus safety procedures and emergency procedures. Campus Security Officers are not armed. They conduct on-foot and vehicular patrols of the campus. In addition, an escort service is provided in the evening and night time hours.
Campus Security Officers enforce all college rules and regulations. Local police are called in for any arrest relating to violations of city or state laws. The Campus Safety and Security Department maintains a working relationship with local, county, and state police and fire agencies.

- In person at the Security Office and completing a complaint form.
All complaints will be reviewed by the Safety and Security Supervisor, and then routed to the Department involved.
Without disclosing any names, Campus Security will promptly notify the college community of reported crimes that are considered a potential threat to the community. This will allow the college community to take steps to prevent similar occurrences of this crime.
